There are many ways to improve shrimp productivity and profitability.

Go further with larvae from our aquaculture center

Ras Geniacua

Differentiation

We have an aquaculture center with state-of-the-art design and equipment. The seeding of nauplii with good genetic selection and biological performance, along with the infrastructure, RAS system, and the method of applying inputs and feeding, sets us apart from conventional laboratories.

Our commitment is to offer shrimp post-larvae cultivated in the best possible conditions, allowing them to develop with their maximum genetic expression in the pre-grow-out and grow-out phases, achieving superior rates of growth and survival.

Technology

Our aquaculture center operates on a Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS), providing numerous advantages for the cultivation of shrimp post-larvae and other aquatic organisms.

The installed technology allows us to maintain all parameters continuously stable and controlled, avoiding stress and ensuring higher rates of growth, survival, and animal well-being

Advantages

We employ innovative procedures across all stages of animal development.

Thanks to our recirculation system, we can constantly remove solids, maintaining a system with low organic matter.

Feed and inputs are applied symmetrically and mechanically through venturis, from bottom to top through injection, ensuring uniform coverage, unlike traditional systems.

Our technology ensures excellent water quality through applied mechanical, physical, and chemical processes.

We refrain from using antibiotics or prohibited products, resulting in animals with maximum genetic expression.

Committed to excellence

Our facility design and the technology we use not only set us apart but also enable us to offer high-performance organisms.

We invite you to learn more about our system

01

Quality Control

We conduct microbiology analyses continuously on animals and water to ensure the biosecurity and safety of our larvae.

Additionally, we analyze measurements of size, uniformity, and pigmentation using algorithms and statistics from a digital application.

02

Water treatment

The main objective is to obtain water that is 99.99% free from bacteria, algae, viruses, and solids, ensuring an ideal environment for the reception of animals and preventing contamination hotspots.

03

Filtration system

We have 5 micron filters, ozone, ultraviolet, nanobubble and 1 micron bags to ensure the removal of solids and disinfection through technology

04

Aeration and Distribution System

The cultivation tanks, covered with greenhouse plastic, feature an aeration system generated by regenerative blowers and distribution lines, along with recirculation using A3 nozzles and water pumps. This allows for oxygenation, recirculation, and degassing of the cultivation water, in addition to adding pure oxygen or pure ozone, as well as nano-oxygen or nano-ozone, enabling high levels of oxygenation.

05

Parameter control

Parameters are continuously measured 24/7 by sensors located in each cultivation tank. The information is sent to the analysis center for review, and necessary precautions are taken in case of anomalies. Sensors send messages via cell phone to those in charge of process control. The parameters we continually measure include:

  • Oxygen and saturation

  • Temperature

  • Salinity

  • Ammonia

  • pH

06

Algae production

We use algae from Plankton S.A.'s bioreactors, providing us with carboys containing strains of extremely high concentration and purity, free from pathogens or unwanted organisms. We utilize algae up to advanced larval stages of the cultivation.

07

Artemia Production

We use high-quality artemia cysts in sufficient quantities up to advanced larval stages. The hatched artemia is treated with probiotics to reduce or minimize the vibrio load

08

Bacteria Production

We use high-concentration probiotic strains, supplemented with enzymes, which are bioaugmented, never replicated, under ideal conditions for their growth.

We add between 10 and 20 ppm of bioaugmented probiotics to the cultivation tanks daily, using a mechanical dosing system for easy and proper homogenization and mixing in the post-larvae cultivation water.

09

Production tanks with circulation

In Phase 2, we have 8 production tanks for 10 million post-larvae every 15 days. As soon as Phase 1 is completed, we will see a 100% increase in production, meaning a monthly capacity of 160 million shrimp post-larvae.

Each production tank has its own sedimentation and recirculation system, along with various water inputs, allowing us to handle different salinity levels required by our customers.

We specialize in producing post-larvae for cultivation in very low salinity.
